KUMIHIMO - SECONDA PARTE

Se vi siete divertite a fare il kumihimo con il disco di cartone e volete continuare con un altro lavoro andate a http://www.thegenieslamp.com/kumihimo/kumihimo4.pdf e troverete il modello di un disco, stampatela e incollatela sul cartone. Fate il buco in mezzo ed i taglietti tutt’attorno al bordo esterno.

Adesso prendete 4 fili di 2 colori diversi, 2 di una tinta e 2 dell’altra, lunghi 1,5mt circa. Come vedete si ripete sempre lo stesso movimento, girando il disco in senso anti-orario. Bisognerebbe mettere un peso sotto per mantenere un certa tensione. Come vedete io ho usato delle mollette per i panni, che devo dire funzionano molto bene. As you can see, I repeat the same movement, turning the disc always in a counter-clockwise direction. Digressione : Potete usare di tutto per fare questo, dal cotone alla lana. Io per un certo periodo prendevo sempre in edicola una rivista con dei bellissimi disegni in punto croce. Con ogni rivista c’era un cartoncino con 8 matassine di mouliné. A un certo punto ho smesso di prendere la rivista perche mi sono trovata con una borsa piena di queste matassine. Poiché non mi piaceva usare la lane quando facevo il kumihimo, mi venne in mente la mia borsa di matassine ed ecco il risultato. Digression: You can use whatever you like, from cotton to wool. Posso dire quanto mi piace farlo. Il mio dischetto di schiuma sta comodamente in un sacchetto di plastica in borsa (premetto che io ho sempre delle borsette che sembrano dei piccoli bauli). Ho letto sul blog di una signora americana che raccontava che oltre a lei, il kumihimo lo faceva anche il suo marito, e mentre lei faceva collane, braccialetti, portachiavi, suo marito si limitava a fare solo queste trecce. Posso capirlo perché anch’io ho un sacchetto di trecce che mi sono divertita a fare, con 2 – 4 o anche 8 colori.

Inoltre noterete dal video che io uso entrambe le mani, non perché sia ambidestra o mancina ma ho sentito che man mano che s’invecchia, bisogna cercare di usare tutto il cervello, non solo una parte, per cui bisognerebbe usare entrambe le mani.
